Hey Everybody

Hey, my name is Mitchell Frackson but everyone just calls me Mitch.
I'm from Victoria BC and I go to Pacific Christian School.
This is my sixth year going to Imadene and I just can't wait to go back.
Ever since I started going to Imadene I always come home wishing  I could have stayed at camp.
By LITing this summer I get to serve the camp that I love.
I feel like this is something God wants me to do that I could learn a lot from all of you.
I can't wait to meet all of you.

Hola, my name is Devon. as you can clearly see I am the one on the right(^up there^). I have been going to Imadene for...3 or 4 years now, and absolutely love it. Most of my time up at Imadene was work krew and LIT. This year I am looking forward to see how this new system of everything being LIT is going to work, I am also looking forward to seeing some of the kids again.
I am VERY excited for this year, as I will be joining LIT for July and most of August, however between August 8th and 20th I will be on a missions trip in Ecuador, then back for leading in Senior. Hopefully I can make it to the work weekend/ training, to meet everyone.
Werd.

Hello

Hi, my name is Matthew Saowapon. When my mom and my brother traveled to Canada last year they learned about camp Imadene, through our cousins. So when they to Thailand got back my mom and I decided it would be a great opportunity to work in camp Imadene. Ever since then we have been making arrangements for me to be a camp this year.

New LIT/ Work krew Deal.

Just wondering how this new LIT/Work krew combined thing is going to workout? Just some random details like what new opportunities and different jobs this might add. Oh yeah and is it still considered work krew or LIT now? or maybe Tiork Krew, best of both worlds, I just don't know. Anyways, peace for now.

Hi Helen here

My name is Helen Siemens (siemens pronounced as in C-men's). I have been to camp as a camper for three years and did Jr. work crew last year. I am homeschooled and have been for my whole life. I have two adult ducks and have recently been raising five ducklings, they are six weeks old. I am exited about doing LIT and hope to see you all soon.

Whats'up gang

Hi
My name is Nathan Robertson (pronounced ney-tthieeauein) and I am one of the LIT leaders for this summer at Imadene. Some of you may know me as I have been involved at Imadene for a long time (anyone remember the manatery??)
anyways........I am 21 years old, I'm from Victoria and as you can see from my picture I like mud-pie. This past year I was at Briercrest out in Saskatchewan and before that I got my civil engineering degree from Camosun in Victoria.
I have been going to Imadene ever since I was a wee little baby. Over the years I have volunteered as a cabin leader, work crew (like what you guys will be doing), pot washer, music team, program team, ski dock.....i think thats it. Two summers ago I was part of the summer staff. Myofficial title was something like data processor (it was a weird one summer job) but everyone refered to me as the man secretary or manatary.
To tell you the truth a couple months ago I had no intention of working at camp this summer but God put the opportunity before me and I went for it and now here i am. I am really excited for what God will do in the lives of the campers, our summer staff, you guys and myself as we serve him together this summer.
I look forward to getting to know you guys and working with you this summer
Nathan

Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone! Well, you've all already gotten an email from me, but let me put a face to a name. I'm Charis Banks (pronounced "Care-iss"), and this is my dog Caspian (like the book/movie), and I'm one of the LIT leaders this summer!

I'm from Chilliwack BC, I'm 21 years old next week, and I love camp. I have a confession to make, my story actually begins at Camp Qwanoes (For those of you who don't know, Imadene and Qwanoes are sort of rival camps). I'd always grown up in a Christian home and had been to camp every summer since I was in grade 3, so when I turned 16 I decided to go to the Counselor in training (CIT) program there, kind of like LIT here. It was one of the most amazing summers I've ever had. I learned so much and began to feel close to God in a way I never had before. I also made so many amazing friends, some of whom I'm still very close to now, that have really changed me a lot. Since then I worked at Qwanoes for 4 summers, and have started attending Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan. That has been amazing too, learning more about the Bible in a really real and interesting way. So when a friend suggested I come to Imadene this summer, I was really excited at the idea of being at camp again and learning and growing with all of you. I really am serious when I say I can't wait to meet you all, myself and the two other guys have been here planning for your arrival for a couple weeks now, and we're just itching for summer to start. Hence the blog: we'd love to start getting to know you already!

Anyway, have a great day everyone. Hope to hear from you soon!

What's the Dealio?

Hey! It's good to meet you...well maybe I should say it's going to be good to meet you! My name is Joshua St. Pierre (pronounced "Jaw-shhhhh" (like "hey you're being too loud!") ). and I'm one of the three amigos's who are leading you this summer. This is actually my first year on staff here, and I am looking forward to an awesome time with you all.

A little about myself. Like I said, this is my first time on staff at camp, though I did go to camp once (anyone heard of Camp Silverside in Alberta?) in junior high which was pretty sweet. I vaguely remember burning moss...eating mushy porridge...uh....memorizing all of Romans 12...a cute blonde girl...capture the flag..and my cabin leader named Condor! What's up with weird cabin leaders names anyways? Camp people are crazy! Anyways, I am 23 and I've lived in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta for most of my life...raised a Christian, led worship at Wednesday night Bible studies, played soccer...pretty typical I suppose. I am thankful for those times. After high school I spent about seven months in New Zealand at Capernwray Bible School, where I began to learn much more about God, which was really good. Since then I have spent the past 4 years at Briercrest College in Saskatchewan and decided to come to camp this summer because I love being outside and working with people and seeing them grow (Not to mention this province is waaaaay more beautiful than Saskatchewan...seriously...go there sometime just so you appreciate what you got!). I seriously am excited about getting to know you and working alongside you all and seeing God do good things all around us (not to mention having a really fun time!). Blessings.
